My Film Draft
This is the first draft of my 2 minute film opening. Unfortunately the quailty of the camera and of the filming are not very good, but this was the only chance i would have to get the filming done as the people starring in the film are often busy with their own school work.
There are some scenes where the camera person zoomed (when i told them not to) causing the scene to look sloppy and unprofessional.
There were also problems with sound as it was extremely windy, often covering the sound of everything going on. I wasn't originally planning on using any dialogue, but when i suggested this point to my actors, they thought it would be better to include some. After recording this though i think i will stick with no, or at least very little, dialogue.
The main problem though was that i had to use a different location. The location i planned to use was currently in use as a car park by the people who work around that area. My plan to avoid this problem was to shoot the film at a later time after work had finished, but at the time, we could not afford to wait til 5 o'clock as my friends would have to go home.
At the moment, i have currently used music that is copyrighted, literally just to try and drown the sound of the wind and create the tension. The music i used were both from the Halo: Combat Evolved album and are called:
- Trace Amounts (track 9 on album)

- Dust and Echoes (track 25 on album)

I will use my own created music in my next version of this film, which i am already working on finding the time to film and edit.
